o'whale is a raw, expressive build—part creature, part commentary—crafted from salvaged wood and marked by hand.

This one-of-a-kind piece was assembled using only wood, screws, glue, and pen. The form loosely takes on the shape of a whale, topped with a hand-painted wooden sign that reads o'whale — setting a playful, tongue-in-cheek tone that’s equal parts humor and honesty.

Pen linework is sketched directly onto the surface, giving the piece a rough, hand-tagged texture. One of the most striking features is a curved section at the base featuring a robed figure—subtly evoking biblical energy and the story of Jonah. Fin-like elements and a lifted tail suggest motion, but nothing’s too perfect—this is streetwise craftsmanship through and through.
